Rules of Practice

  1. HAVE FUN!!! If you’re not having fun, neither will your dog.
  2. Bring high-value treats and a tug to practice. Potty your dog outside before brigning them in the building. Remember to pick up after them, too!
  3. Flyball is a TEAM sport. There are lots fo jobs to do, so everyone should be up and helping with each dog. If you don’t have a job, then just come over and watch. You can leanr a lot by observing.
  4. Each dog’s training should be just as important to you as your own dog… one day they will be running on a team together, and you want all team dogs to be as good as they can be,
  5. Dogs are individuals. They learn at their own pace. Don’t judge your dog’s progress with another’s. Some dogs take longer to train, and it’s no indication of what kind of flyball dog they will be.
  6. Consitency is key! Skipping practices will set your dog’s training back. Showing up every week makes a huge difference!
  7. All members are expected to help pack up the equipment and mats and tidy up the building when practice is finished.
